“80% of Local Spending stays Local” – Bray Retailers

Bray Retailers join forces to launch their new “Shop Local” poster.

The Bray Retailers have joined forces to launch their latest initiative – the Shop Local campaign.  Highlighting the top 10 reasons for shopping local, Anne-Marie Holland, instigator of the Shop Local campaign said “If we all make a conscious decision to support our own community, more good things will happen to the town where we live, and where we live is pretty important to all of us.”

In a bright and colourful inspiring poster, Bray citizens are reminded of the benefits of supporting their local shops.  The Shop Local message will be on display throughout the town over the coming weeks. Other projects have included the beautiful summer hanging baskets and the painting scheme.

The poster lists the10 great reasons to Shop in Bray:

Protect local jobs, Create new jobs, Enjoy personal service, Choice of top brands, Strengthen local economy, Strengthen local economy, Reduce carbon footprint, Build community spirit, Develop Bray’s future, Encourage local investment, Protect your town.
